Peter’s passion is helping learners engage in active learning. He has an extensive background is in Leadership Development, Facilitation, Employee Engagement, Organizational Effectiveness, Strategic Planning, Change Management, Alternative Dispute Resolution, and Executive Coaching. As a Master Facilitator, Peter led Ontario’s Pre-Budget Consultation and was the Lead Facilitator for the Postsecondary Education Review with former Premier Bob Rae.
He was previously the Deputy Director and the Chief Instructor of the Leadership Development Unit at the Ontario Police College (OPC). Prior to joining the OPC, he was the Regional Manager with The Centre For Leadership and Learning. Peter had a long varied career in the public service working in senior leadership and management positions in different ministries.
Peter has a certificate in Adult Education from St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia and a Professional Certificate in Leadership from Western University in London. He is also a member of International Association of Facilitators (IAF).
